Hi there. I believe good copywriting needs to talk to people. Rationally and emotionally. When your words press all the right buttons, they can motivate action.

And great copywriting is all about action.

I started copywriting in 2009. Well, that’s not really true. I wrote copy every day in my Marketing roles, but in 2009, I registered Copywrite Matters with the vision of freelancing freedom.

Six months later, my ‘side income’ was as much as my salary and it was time to say bye-bye to the cube-farm. Six years later, Copywrite Matters goes from strength to strength accommodating an overseas move and a kid.

Now, I’m sharing what I’ve learned. I offer copywriting courses that teach the writing skills needed to sell stuff and mentoring that helps copywriters run successful businesses.

I get annoyed when I see bland copywriting because boring marketing is failed marketing. Personality is the spice of life! I am forgiving of most grammatical errors because I know I’m a terrible proofreader.
