If you like what you’re hearing on Hot Copy, the best way to support the show is to take just a few seconds to leave a rating and / or comment over on iTunes or Stitcher. Thanks!
We read out a review at the end of each show and today, we’re giving a shout out to Jan for her FAB review. Thanks Jan!
You girls are in my brain this week as I re-focus and define what’s acceptable for my processes. Thanks for this podcast share on client approaches and management – you’re like a calm voice in a freelancer storm you two are.
It’s funny to think of us as calm voices but we LOVE that Andrea!
Thanks for listening 🙂 — Belinda
Your brain is so comfy, I’m at the back on the right next to the big grey squidgy bit. Thanks for your comment. Hugs. KT
You two are amazing! Thanks for an amazing podcast. Even non-copywriters would find the advice you give useful.
Just wanted to say I use the desktop version of Toggl (free) and it will send you reminders to log your time. ?
Thanks Tara. Yep we’ve had quite a few non copywriting types saying they found the tips useful. Love me some Toggl.
Thanks Tara! Toggl is one tool I never tried but it seems pretty damned awesome.
Aw, thanks Kate! And for another smashing pod. I’ve made a bunch of notes to tune-up my proposals/T&Cs. And the stuff around having processes, but knowing when to bend them (just a bit) is super on-point. I got so excited about having processes that I’ve been a bit rigid in the past. Aiming to be more of a palm tree henceforth.
Hey Matt, thanks for the kind words. I MUST find a way to link to that spotify sound track you made.
I’m the same Matt. In my attempt to appear like a great project manager and super professional copywriter, I became a bit too strict and foot-stampy. I like your palm tree idea although that’s mainly because I need a holiday, preferably somewhere with palm trees!
